United States Armed Forces Facts

The 5th and final force is the United States Coast Guard. The USCG is a maritime, military, mission service special among the U.s. military branches for having a maritime law enforcement mission and a federal regulatory agency mission as part of its mission set. It has 42,190 active personnel and over 48,000 in reservists, civilian employes, and auxiliarists. The USCG has 1,850 boats and 205 aircraft.
