The United States Army is the largest branch of the United States Armed Forces and performs land based military operations. The maximum age for enlistment in the army is 35. The army has 475,000 active personnel and 540 reserve and National Guard personnel. The U.S. Army has four sites for BCT: Fort Benning in Georgia, ; also provides Infantry and Armor OSUT. Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina; largest of all BCT locations. Fort Leonard Wood in St. Robert, Missouri; also provides Corps of Engineers, Chemical Corps, and Military Police OSUT.
