The United States armed forces are the federal armed forces of the united states of america. They consist of 5 groups, The army, The marines, the navy, the air force, and the coast guard.
The president is the commander and cheif for all these forces. The minimum age for all forces is 17 (with parental guardian consent) and 18 for volunteer.
There are approximately 1,301,300 active personnel in all 5 forces, the us armed forces also has a combined 811,000 reserve personnel.
